The new Zune software rocks. On the device itself, I like two new features the best.

You can tag any song you're listening to on an FM station for purchase later, either by syncing with the computer or...

You can now purchase and download music instantly over any wireless connection, and free at McDonalds restaurants (over their wireless). Very very cool, and the feature is well done. You get album art and everything, even the preview clips. So it is similar to the iPhone stuff except faster and, oh yeah, the device is cheap (Price of iPod classic, or iPod nano). I am not sure if it works with a Zune pass subscription or not.

The software on the computer hasn't changed much, but they made it easier to update tags and it runs much more quickly.

I personally don't see myself using the device features that much, as I rarely even sync the zune since it's usually in the car (though I could wireless sync). There may come a time when I do decide to use the Zune pass. I like the channels feature of that. Similar to a podcast except it's just a bunch of new music delivered all the tiem. That's cool.
